Ar... Me Cripplin' Fishermany Cough

Right. So I'm still coughing a ridiculous amount. But here's the rub. I.... Don't....Care :) Mandragola rehearsal yesterday was wonderful, I really feel that this cast is going to rock. If i'm lucky I can convince them to let Ligurio be a sleazy Italian mobster wearing a pinstripe suit. In other news, had to work this morning which was crappy, then hung out at second cup doing homework and reading (which is actually nice and somewhat fortuitous since one could say that this is the chapter of the spirit spout :)). Still at the Scup, Blogging before going back to the whale for the evening. I refuse to read past Guizot for Civ, I know we won't cover past a certain amount in class and if he makes it all the way to Hegel i'll be very surprised. In other other news, I think I'm going to have to drop the latin class, though I really want to do it, there's no way I'll be able to manage that, Mandragola, work, Italian, Italian renaissance, Civ and Modes in one semester without dying. Plus I need to leave time, just in case I happen to fall in love :p Insofar as the cough is concerned, a customer today gave me wonderful advice. Go to the store, buy a can of blackbean soup, COVER the bowl in cayenne pepper and add a glop of plain yogurt. Surefire cure for a cough, and, since I love cayenne, It must work! I Guar-ahn-tee (said with a thick southern cajun accent... mmmm cajun food). No, this day hasn't been one of profound thinking, or one where I've felt particularly well, or even been able to breathe properly, yet, it has been nonetheless an incredible day :) A slight dusting of hope on the dryest field is sometimes way better than a drop of rain on an already verdant one. Sorry, waxing poetic again... hehehehe, waxing.... I wonder if they used to wax off one's poeticness like you can wax off body hair. In other other other news, Fishermans' Friend are truly wonderful little losenges, they heal like there's no tomorrow. Here's to you nordic fisherman! While i'm at it, here's to all sailors, pirates, whalemen and anyone brave enough to sail the seas! *Le Sigh* I should so be a sailor... or at least a fantasy pirate...
